John P. Hall has over 30 years of experience in the planning and design of buildings of various types—from large hospital programs to major laboratory projects to historic preservation and adaptive reuse. With an extensive background in medical and senior living facilities, he has directed the implementation of renovation and new construction to accommodate all types of hospital services. These include inpatient nursing for medical/surgical, psychiatric, OB/GYN, pediatrics, as well as emergency departments, oncology treatment, dialysis, clinical laboratories and ancillary services. His work in senior living facilities includes leading edge efforts in Household Concept, Eden Alternative and a demonstration project for the New York State Department of Health. He has authored "The Effects of Scale and Diversity on Human Behavior" for Kent State University Press, and articles for New York Real Estate Journal and Nursing Homes Long-Term Management. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Great Lakes Seaway Trail.
